Hi. I'm Quinn Farley. Welcome to my gallery site. My photographic style is a bit on the casual side, and I see that it extends to my writing as well. So forgive the informal nature of my "bio", but here goes: I'm a guy who gets to spend his life having the supreme honor of making a living being a photographer (and being a dad to four really cool kids and husband to my favorite person). I roam around enough that I call the entire Western US home, but my studio is in Salt Lake City. I'm blessed to work locally, regionally and nationally -although my kids really love my local customers because they get to have a dad in the evening -so a huge thanks to my Utah customers!

I love creative expression and I'm a big fan of all the arts. I've had a 20-year love affair with the visual image and, specifically, photography as an art form. And as much as I love the creative process behind the camera, my biggest thrill is seeing my clients' smiles when they see their photographs for the first time (that sounds like marketing speak, but it's true). So, and here's the pitch, let me put my creative energies into your wedding, commercial project, family portrait or whatever. Please check out my gallery online and then give me a call.

Oh yeah, my credentials- I've been a professional photographer for the last 16 years. That's when I finished my formal education at The Brooks Institute of Photographic Arts and Sciences in Santa Barbara (horrible name, I know, but it was a really good school). I've worked in the years since for large fashion houses, commercial clients, the government (hush-hush stuff, but trust me, they were really good photographs!), a lot of headshots for out-of-work actors (keep the faith!), a lot of truly in-love brides and grooms and my fair share of families looking for the we-get-together-only-once-every-10-years-so-our-photographer-better-nail-this family portraits.

More recently I worked for Busath Photography, being recruited by Drake Busath to come to Utah to run his studio, shoot for him and help his well-known portrait house make the difficult transition over from film to digital. For the past 5 years I've worked with Scott Breen in Holladay, Utah at The Breen Studios, which I now own as well.

Wedding Photography! Wedding photographer. Yes, I'm a wedding photographer and a commercial photographer and a family photographer. Got kids? I am also a child and baby photographer doing great baby photography and child photography. Where do I work? I have a photography studio in Salt Lake City, Utah, Provo, Utah, Bountiful Utah, and all of Utah. I am also a California wedding photographer in San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. I love to photograph brides and grooms and I do great bridal photography in a photojournalistic wedding style (also known as candid wedding photography). I am also extremely well trained in the traditional and formal wedding photography styles. (This is a really boring paragraph!) I photograph families doing family photography in Utah.
